At the recent Hedberg Conference organized by AAPG in Houston, Roberto Galimberti (GEOLOG Technologies) presented the poster co-authored with Mario Chiaramonte titled “High-resolution Geochemistry at well site, a new emerging tool”. This stimulated interesting discussions with many potential and current clients including Equinor, Apache, Conoco Phillips, Shell and Murphy Oil. The conference was focused on changes in petroleum systems analysis from the origin to the current day and was held by some of the best-known scientists in basin modelling. Geochemistry was one of the key subjects and a session was devoted to Mud Logging and well site Geochemistry. Most of the sessions were focused on challenges in Unconventionals.
